In spite of having owned it for 4 years, yesterday was the first time that I got to take out my luge. The snow was pretty icy and with the Schaedler Rodel being built for speed I was sledging down the hill at quite a speed. I even managed to get air at a couple of points, which my body is not thanking me for today (the luge has absolutely no flex in it). I imagine that if these sledges were more prevalent (I don’t know how much it cost, but I know it wasn’t cheap) that they could be the cause of my more holiday related injuries than skiing and snowboarding combined!
