I saw this a couple of days ago on BBC2, I actually forget what the show was really about, but it was called ‘Earth: The Power of the Planet’.

Good Day: Going to pick up our new industrial power-washer (very needed…) today and taking the coastal road to Barrow and getting a great view of Morecambe Bay.
Good Day: Getting a free remote control car with the power washer. The car looks like the one in the picture (thus justifying such an exciting action photo atop this post). It even came with batteries! So much fun!
Bad Day: Picking up the fixed spindle moulder from Staveley and then having it fall over in the van despite strapping it in pretty tight. That doesn’t sound very dramatic, but you should consider that the spindle moulder weighs a fair few hundred kilos, so it made a hell of a bang and shunted the van forward a bit when I had to brake heavily after someone decided to turn without signalling… I don’t think there’s any damage done though, to the van or the moulder, but its gonna be a hag to get out tomorrow.

Even though I’m pretty sure they’ll pick someone else, y’know, someone that can actually speak their language, but its still a bit exciting. I can’t decide if I’m more excited about potentially working in a company whose work I’ve admired since early on in the HYA odyssey or potentially living in Berlin. Meh, they’re both pretty cool!

This is one of the entrants to the Mimoco x Hide Your Arms illustration competition. Its by Ric. I don’t think there’s any cronyism involved thinking that this is a great illustration. The judges haven’t entirely made up their minds but I think this will probably be a winner.
Not as good the second time through, but the movie is a magic trick... so it shouldn't be.
