But in a good way! I was checking through some Amsterdam club listing yesterday and I noticed that Pete Tong and JXL (the Little Less Conversation Elvis remix guy) are both playing at a club a little bit out of the centre called Panama on Saturday night. Tickets are €20, which I don’t think is too bad, so we’re gonna go to that.

Bit of a step up from the Wheely, eh?

So I’m reading at work that Bone has found himself an excuse to hang around in men’s toilets.
Now I know that blogging provides a certain level of revenue, but just because one person agrees it doesn’t make it a proper job.
So I was thinking I could help the Bone out in finding some work of his own, something to get him out of his house for at least a day a week
Now I know Bone, that you wouldn’t want any ordinary job, its not your style,
And I wouldn’t force that on you, so in light of your recent trip to Tokyo (and my eternal jealousy)

I dropped one of my advertisers (he admitted it was fair enough), and I feel really bad about it.

I am clearly far too nice for the advertising world. But in an ‘every cloud has a silver lining’ moment, I may have two new advertisers taking the vacated spots.

Still, it depresses me when I have to make these kind of serious decisions, because I only want to do good things in the independent clothing industry, and this doesn’t feel like that even if it is progress for me and Hide Your Arms.

I know its a fairly odd subject, but it fascinates me, and I’m hoping that it might become fairly popular. I haven’t bought a .com for it yet before because I want to test the water first before splashing out on yet another domain name.

I that since I already had two laptops, two mice, one desktop PC, two printers, and two external hard drives on the desk that I might as well have a bit of dual monitor fun and hookup the desktop PC monitor to my main laptop. I don’t know if its made me more productive (since the second monitor is just playing Fast Times At Ridgemont High at the moment), but it sure does look cool, and its nice to have a bit more monitor real estate, and I feel less like I’m wasting time sat up at the desk rather than on the couch with my laptop.

And that pic is a bit of a tease too, it reveals my latest web adventure.

Yesterday, my, Tigg and his friend from uni Matt took a bit of a trip around the Lakes, taking in Cathedral caves (with a load of schoolkids, which hit the ambience a bit), the Wrynose and Hardknott passes, Wast water, Corney Fell, and the village that time forgot, Broughton (site of the aforementioned awesome brownie). Here’s a couple of pics since BGBC has been a bit text-heavy recently.

Why is it that there seem to be so many people who are unable to pronounce the word ’sudoku’?

I’m watching ‘Edinbrugh and Beyond’ on Paramount and Russel Howard (who was really funny, incidentally) pronounced it as if it was spelt ’suduko’!

I know it shouldn’t annoy me, but it does, just a little bit, because all you have to do is look at the word, and say it how it looks, its literally Catchphrase…
