I *think* this is where I bought my super-awesome Nike SB Cliche trainers when I was in Japan.
But the real reason that I wanted to post this pic was because itshows just how busy Takashita street becomes on the weekends. Imagine me try to make my way through this kind of a crowd!

Yeah, just watch it, it took me all afternoon to build/shoot/edit. It’s kind of a pity I didn’t do this at uni, because that tower I made one night and posted the pictures of on here was far superior in terms of design and build quality, well, maybe next time. And yes, I know that I need to get a job!

Okay, I do seem to be getting a bit Youtube crazy recently, but I just had to share this clip. I can’t promise that it will be the only time that I post a fiddle-based video on BGBC, but chances are it probably will be.
Jigsaw Timelapse/Stopmotion project

I’ve been wanting to do some animation like this for ages so I set up my tripod and got to work. There were a couple of problems, first off, who the hell attempts to do a proof of concept with a 500 piece jigsaw? Secondly, the jigsaw was produced in the same year I was born and I still expected all the pieces to be there (simply not true). Thirdly, the jigsaw has lot of plain colour sections (not completed in the jigsaw), and it is largely symmetrical. It was a bit ambitious, clearly, but the idea is still nice, and I think the video turned out pretty well so I’ll probably give it another shot.

Guess you thought I’d disappeared yeah? Well, I did for a while… and to be honest, I probably wont post for an age after this again. My life over the past month and a bit has consisted of two things:
1) Strada. The restaurant has now been open for a month & business is going very well. We’re having some staffing issues at the moment (in that there are only 4 of the original staff members remaining!) so me and the other Waiter, Ben, are being worked into the ground. That being approximately 50 hours a week non stop. So yeah, I’m tired, but I really enjoy the job, I feel passionate about the company & want to build a good reputation for Strada York, the people I work with are both amazing at their jobs and brilliant people and finally, the pay is pretty good too!
2) Nicholas. I have now been un-single for 5 weeks & I’m stupidly loved up & stupidly happy! I’m not gonna bore you guys with details… I miss him at the moment cos he’s at home in Derby recovering from a Hernia operation (which I was with him for…) but he’s back on Friday so I’ll be happy.
Life’s sweet! Tonight I saw Kelly Jones play in York and he was brilliant, he’s got such an amazing voice… he played 5 Phonics songs, including oldies like Local Boy and their only number 1, Dakota. Friday night saw me, Ann and Katie at the M.E.N. Arena for Faithless, who were absolutely cracking, but unfortunately the weekend was spoiled terribly by My Chemical Romance’s performance being effing shite the next night. Biggest waste of £25 ever. Next gig is Jimmy Eat World at Leeds Union which should be cracking & then the Muse gig in the summer… if Wembley’s ever finished!
