I’ve had a Bebo account for ages but I forgot to mention it on BGBC, largely because it’s utterly bereft of information, and if you are interested in what I have to say then you’re more likely to be here than there. Also, Bebo doesn’t seem all that functional on Firefox (it adds the wrong people as friends because I have more than one tab open) But Bebo is the UKs largest social networking site, and as I am a man of multimedia I will give stalkers as many opportunities as possible to hunt me down, so if you would like to add me as a friend, you can do at the following address:

I thought it would be fun to give you a bit of a taste of the gig that I’m going to tomorrow through the medium of YouTube videos which have low sound quality. First up tomorrow (providing Tigg and I manage not to get lost) will be The Matches, who I hadn’t heard until I started researching vids for this post, they seem pretty cool.
And then OK Go will take the stage, though if this tour had been booked a few months after it was originally sorted I would presume that OK Go would be headlining due to their VMA exposure.
And then lastly, the band I’ve paid to see, and have actually heard quite a lot of (and have seen before, supporting Blink 182), Motion City Soundtrack, with their fun pop punk.
^(If you get the Steadman reference in the title, congratulations, you are officially awesome)
If I’ve got my dates right, I think Matt and Hannah headed (and are probably still heading too) to Japan today for a year of teaching English. I’d wish them good luck, but I don’t think that either of them are readers of BGBC, still, I hope they have an amazing time and enjoy the experience.
Maybe I should have done something like that? Well, there’s still time, and I do intend to do something and go somewhere in the near-ish future (after France, and then it’ll be pretty close to Christmas, and then New Years, maybe then I’ll do something).
Oh, and Matt is Godzilla because of his well-publicised ability to break pretty much anything.

I was sat in the Wheelhouse on Saturday night chatting away to Pete, and we noticed a weird little video come up on the TVs. In the Wheely they show music channels on TV, which has no effect upon the music which is being played, which can be pretty funny if there’s a rock vid on with the Grease megamix over it. Anyway, the video confused the hell out of us, and I knew it wasn’t just my ‘relaxed’ state because Pete hadn’t drank all night, and when it came to a close we both quickly texted down the info that came up on the screen. Juno Reactor - God is God. It’s taken me until today to remember to look it up on Youtube, upon a quick search I found it, and I’m not exactly into the music (bit like an Eastern European Eurovision entry), and the video is still utterly bizarre (clips from Russian TV, I believe) and well worth a quick look.

BGBC turned 3 years old on saturday and I totally forgot about it (like I do every year). It’s weird (very weird) to look back on the archives and read my own writing, because since I wrote it a while ago it’s as if I’m reading stuff someone else has written.
The blogs changed a lot over the years, having been through 3 different hosts, an unknown number of different designs (I’d say this one is my favourite, but I guess I wouldn’t change it if I thought it would look worse) and expanded the number of writers to five, admittedly I’m still the main contributor, but that’s how I want it, because I’m the big guy, who’s (not) in the big city.
