More like a DONEsertation

Yeah, that’s right, about a year after I first had the idea to write a dissertation about Trench warfare soldiers I’ve handed the 43 page document into the School of History Office. 3 days ahead of the deadline as well.

To celebrate me and Tom made the most of the sunshine by having a barbeque out in the garden. We must have eaten about a kilo of meat each, taking such delights as chinese pork kebabs, lincolnshire sausage and a rack of ribs that I had drenched in BBQ marinade. I would’ve taken pictures of carnivore-fest 2006 but my hands were way to sticky and dirty from manning the coals. Obviously the completion of the coursework side of my degree was toasted with more than one beverage, and I ended up drinking quite a lot of Smirnoff, but it was the Black label, so there were no ill-effects this morning.

So, just got 2 exams to do now and that’s my degree finished.

Yeah, the clay really is the best choice for my hair, styling without adding in too much gunk, and it washes out fairly quickly.

Nice site, btw, its well put together.
