Big Guy, Big City, Big Month!

Without even finishing January we’ve already managed to beat our previous hits record, and have many more unique visitors than ever before, I don’t know what we’ve done, but clearly it’s doing the trick, onwards and upwards!
Had an enjoyable Friday night, ended up at Mosh after drinking rather a lot of Frosty Jack’s premium strength (budget cost) cider, which has been extensively mentioned on these pages in the past. Much dancing ensued, resulting in me waking up this afternoon (only just mind you 12:03), attempting to stand up, then realising that my ankles weren’t quite working, my neck was sore (must I rock so hard?), my back hurt, my mouth tasted as if I’d been gargling mud all evening, but thankfully my head was clear, well, not that clear, but at leas that was one part of my body that didn’t hurt.
I took the pic as we were walking back from Mosh, I thought it was pretty cool.

Glad things are taking off for you - I remember when I first encountered you on BloggerForum, looking for ways to try and get people to visit your site.
Looks like you found it
Where are they all coming from?

That’s the funny thing, I expected it to largely come from referral’s and searches, but only around 15% is from searches, and maybe 15% referrals from other sites and forums. The bots get discounted by the stats programme, which leaves me with a lot of traffic that I can’t account for, perhaps I have a large and quiet readership?

Have a look at your Awstats (it’s in cPanel) - it’ll give you a more detailed look at where everyone is coming from

My Awstats reckons that just 1.7% of traffic comes from searches, which seems incredibly low, and 5.7% being links, which makes sense. Countrywise it’s dominated by America, having more than 10x more hits than any other country (New Zealand is 6th on the list).
