I’ve noticed I haven’t posted a picture in a while, so I’ll do that next time, as in 2 hours time I will be nearing the end of my presentation!  So tomorrow I’m going to spend doing very little uni work before the revision enslaught begins.  I remember in my first year, Helen having to phone the doctors cos I’d made myself so ill not having any breaks!

Talking of illness, I got some gutting news yesterday.  NME announced that Stereophonics have had to cancel their European Tour with Oasis (starting tonight) due to a family illness & for which I had a ticket for Vienna, next Wednesday.  Despite being angry at first, I figured it might be something serious to cancel so near to the start of the tour, so I’m being a good fan & wishing the boys all the best & I’ll see them very soon!  I know I’m an Oasis fan & everything, but I’m a bigger Stereophonics fan & probably wouldn’t have thought of trekking to Vienna during revision period just to see Oasis.  But hey, I still get to see them & Vienna & as my friend Leanne says, they may announce support as a good band I’ve never seen before. 

As long as it’s not bloody Kasabian (Noel’s a big fan & they supported them 2005) I’ll be happy.  Rumour has it that The Artic Monkeys are supporting them later on in the year at their sell out Sheffield dates, which would be brilliant as I did try & see them in Munich in November, but the tickets got lost in the post.  I don’t have that much luck with gigs!  But I doubt these rumours are true, as The ‘Monkeys brought out their debut album on Monday, which has been dubbed possibly the fastest selling debut album ever, (my copy arrived today, but I have nothing to play it on!!) I doubt they’re going to want to head over to little old Europe for the tour.
