Went to Fan Club on Tuesday and didn’t pull Louise again, but crucially I do now know her name is Louise, that may sound like stalker bone but it is infact drunk bone that forgot a girls name.

We’ve struck upon a new idea, after a night out me and richard (and matt and Rob on tuesday night) have been dissecting our nights out, with hilaious consequences, which will of course be edited and put in the film….

Which is now a staggering 19 minutes long, I did a marathon 5 hour editing session last night, adding just 7 minutes of footage, which shows the level of attention that I’m giving it. I added suitable music to a couple of my silent sections. I’ve been shaving off precious seconds of unnecessary/pointless footage, like after a stunt or before it when theres nothing happening.

Whilst it is a long arduous task, especially the re-encoding of footage that isn’t compatible with the software, it is really rewarding cos I know this is gonna be something that will last for a long time, and it’s funny stuff even on the nth time of watching.

It’s good that I can put stuff from uni on it cos then there’s new stuff for when you guys when I come back, so at least some is fresh.

I think description/captions are slightly controversial, cos they seem as if I’m not pro on Premiere (the editing software) but it was just the look I was going for, and frankly a bit pretentious, though still accessible. And most of all simple so that I can do captions in seconds rahter than minutes.

ok, so my quiet early night turned into going out to Zanzibar, filming a funny interview/review of me and richard and I ended up going to bed at 3. Tonight really will be an early night, with no alcohol whatsoever, although I did just find out that tomorrow’s 9:30 has been cancelled, so I have nothing to do tomorrow……. so I may end up in Fan Club tonight.

I must remember to go to the doctors to get an appointmet for them to take my toenails off (!!!!) and go to the peugeot garage to get the recall done.

Off to a lecture now, one of the few remaining of this year cos we get a few weeks off for revision then nothing happens during the last couple of weeks, at least i think thats how it works.

If I say one thing and one thing only about British Sea Power last night, the giant dancing bear was a surprise.

If I say 2 things then I would say that they were actually quite good and I’d go see them again when I’m not as tired.

I was up till 4 this morning finishing off my essay, I even managed to get to the middle so the word range, not just to the minimum amount, which is surprising.

I’m really, really tired now, and I still have a tutorial to get through, I think I’ll have an early night tonight, I need sleep!!!

I’ve finished one essay and have 1500 words to go on the other, I’ll do it, but it will be close, and I imagine I’ll probably be writing late on sunday night.

Which will be very late because I’m going to see British Sea Power tomorrow as soon as i get back to leicester, incidentally, I’m going back to leicester tomorrow.

I think I’ve lost weight, my stomach doesn’t seem so prominent in my stomach anymore, which is cool, its definitely a dietary change thing cos I’ve really been trying to cut out between meal snacks, and I’ve stopped having big omellettes for breakfast. Hurrah for my will power!!!

I had a new idea for part of my film too, obviously it involves drinking, lots of drinking.

oK, back to the House of Lords essay.

Technically today I wittled 1250 words off my 5000 word total for my essays but thats partially because I realised the essays are actually 500 words shorter each, and I wrote 250 words, but I did go to lancaster (but forgot to take a pen, but with a face like mine any hot girl will lend you one!) and do 3 hours of research, so the 250 words doesn’t seem quite so pathetic anymore.

They’re making The Goonies 2, sacrilege!!!! I even watched that film in German and enjoyed it, it’s totally one of the best family films ever, no foolin’.

it was a beautiful day today, it made driving an absolute joy, even on the 50 zone on the motorway.

I’ve been ill for the past couple of days, not eating or sleeping just lying on the couch telling mum the walls are too bright for my eyes.

SO in short I haven’t done anything interesting (I didn’t even puke up) or thought of anything new to write. I’ll be real busy for the next few days as I rush through my essays that I’ve gotta hand in on monday, so I won’t be seeing fresh air for a while.

I’m gonna chagne the shimy shimmy quarter turn thing today aswell, its gonna be brand new based instead.

I feel like I’ve been neglecting the blog as of late, not because I don’t have anything to write but because I just haven’t been feeling very bloggy at the moment.

I might as well tell you some interesting points of friday night, which was huge, I’m gonna be as honest as I can be.

Having those 10 shots was mad, thank god 2 of them were just coke otherwise I would have been out before we got out.

Churchills was cool, cos it’s not often that us guys all get together whilst drunk, which frankly makes things funnier.

Playing all those drinking games was so awesome, I know we annoyed some people by paying them as just the five of us, but frankly we had an awesome time and when theres likem15 of us in a club its qujite hard to do.

This is gonna be very thinly veiled, so I could get in trouble, but I’ve gotta say it. Since when did not treating a girl like shit mean that you’re attracted to her?
I’m a nice guy, I treat to treat girls nicely, not because I’m attracted to them, but because I was raised to act that way and it just comes naturally to me. I’ll be honest here, I’m not exactly that used to saying no to girls, yes that does make me sound like a man-whore, but it does not make me one, so when I actually wanna say no, I don’t really know what to do, so I didn’t, for way too long.

It was also quite funny on friday when I was telling lynne about how I’m interested in a girl, but I was so wasted that I could remember her name, so I was like “it’s laura, no, sarah, is it louise?” I think it in fact is louise, but i still can’t remember.

There was one more thing I wanted to write, but I’ve typed it a few times and didn’t like it, so I’ll just wait till I’m drunk and tell them.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, cathartic.

P.S. the new Brand New video for “The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows” is awesome, those guys aren’t afraid of making a concept video, good to see in a live video dominated genre

By the nature of blogging I should be able to write whatever I want on here and people should just accept it, but I know that if I do write about what I want to right now that I’ll cause offence and people will be angry with me so I’m not gonna bother (and its not what you necessarily what you think it is either).

We shot a good few minutes today, it comes with the title (working title of course) of ‘The Curse of Fairy Boy cave’ it was Dogme95 flim making of the highest order, and we were dedicated to our art, I was pretty proud of the effort we put in considering time and lighting restraints, hopefully it will come out good when its all put together.

Once me and Green got over our initial fits of camera induced giggles we managed to do some pretty good improv, and we all stood around in this cave mentally storyboarding it, it was cool, we went there with nothing and came back with a funny story, even if Smoothy can’t follow direction, it was one noise dammit man!!

Bowling was cool loast night, I haven’t laughed so much for ages, but it did make my back hurt.

I cut my finger chopping spring onions today, its a pretty bad cut, made me feel sick, afterwards mum completed making my omelette.

I became a member at Snowboard.com, it’s a huge community with about 500,000 members.

Been doing uni work all day, whilst simultaneously getting pics from DevArt.
