I love my stats

January 8th, 2004  |  by Bone  |  published in

Ok, I’m ranked 531 in the gotstats.com Culture & Relationships category, prestigious isn’t it.

Anyway, the site currently at 530 in the list is:

Paros Chamber Choir
Paros Chamber Choir (Armenia) - the only wheelchair choir in the world!

Being beaten by these guys would annoy except that they are the only wheelchair choir in the world, do you think they like don’t allow people in if they aren’t in a wheelchair?

And placed rather ironically below me in the position of 532 is:

http://www.blackbootyinmotion.com/

I kid you not, and purely in the interests of good journalism I ventured forth, and here is a sample qoute from said site

“This makes the ass appear as if it’s smiling at the viewer.”

The internet rocks…

Look at me being clever

Oh my god, Rufio have their music video for ‘White Lights’ from their album ‘1984′ on Scuzz, this is a moment of indescribable coolness. Let me tell you the story of the purchase o said album.

Went to Newcastle.

Bought some clothes.

Bought Rufio 1984 album.

Went home on train.

Its not really as exciting as the toronto story is it?

the response of hodge upon seeing the new look blog (wanring, swearing):

fuck, the blogs gone all fancy

Just been listening to the Drive-Thru Records compilation “Welcome to the Family”, I got it at Sunrise Records in Toronto in summer 2002 during my holiday ther. I remember that it came in a mini pizza box, and I felt really cool cos the guy said “that’s a great cd, there’s a band on there called Finch, they’re really good I saw them on the Warped Tour” and I went “yeah, I got there album in march I really like them” and he was like “cool”.

So not only did I get approval from an alternative guy in a real music store, its was a foreign alternative guy in a real music store. I know Canadians are a bit backward (supposedly) but it was still cool.

hey, that was a story, cool.

The ability to post a comment is now back, I’d just mislaid a bit of code which was the reason I couldn’t put it up last night.

Theres also the archive on the sidebar on the right now, so we’re basically back to normal.

Just remembered something I read last night.

The Offspring have sold 32 million records

thats more than Blink 182 (fair enough)

thats more than Green Day (little bit surprising)

but most amazing of all……

thats more than Nirvana

Like it? I think its cool, though I do wonder what they grey writing would look like on a laptop.

If you’re depserate to tell me what you think of the new layout you’ll have to e-mail me or leave a message on the photo hole.

I found this layout here, it was designed by someone called May, she aslo has a blog and is quite the interesting person.

Theres still a few things to work out with it, like I can’t get my comment system script added into the code, so you can’t post the immediate comments. And not all of the links are mine, several of them will still lead you to may*star designs, so I need to change them, and I need to put in the blogarithm code so that you can get the update e-mail when I update, does anyone use that feature, I haven’t subscribed to it, cos I know when I update.

Anyway I’ve had loads of idea for content, so I should be busy till I get back to uni.

Also the Photo Hole enjoyed a bit of a resurgence yesterday, 2 new members and about 20 pictures.
